The inclusion of the public in the work of art occurs in the course of all history, through various ways and degrees. From the mid-twentieth century we witness a greater evidence in the creation and in discussions of audience participation in the work of art, as Allan Kaprow´s Hapennings (1959), the Humberto Eco´s concept of Open Work (1962), and the Hans Robert Jauss´s Theory of Aesthetic Reception (1967). In the context of interactive art we witness an audience with a greater degree of participation in the work, and the artist thinking more about the presence of the audience at various stages of the creation process of a work of art. The proposol of this article is to analyze the presence of the audience in the interactive installation "Metacampo" (2010), from the Group SCIArts, so that from the practice we can verify and consider the way the audience is present through the all structure of the work.
