During the Open Access Week 2021 of the University of Antwerp, a team of students , with the support of the staff of the University of Antwerp, set up a “Open Access Student Event” The purpose of the project is to raise awareness of Open Access and Open Science discussions and practices among (under)graduate students. In order to make this experience more enjoyable , we decided to discuss this topic by playing a board game. We adapted previous versions of "The game of Open Access" to the context of the University of Antwerp. The workshop was held in 29-10-2021 as a pilot. We plan to expand it to other campuses and faculties in the upcoming Open Access Weeks. We are making the digital files of the game available under at Zenodo in the hope that other institutions will be interested in reusing them and adapting them to other contexts.
