Probably widespread species throughout northern India (e.g. Punjab) and the Himalaya (Darjeeling, Nepal, Pakistan, Sikkim and Uttarakhand) (AHRENS & STEBNICKA 1997; BALTHASAR 1964; CHANDRA 1999; DELLACASA & DELLACASA 2006a; PETROVITZ 1968; STEBNICKA 1981, 1986, 1989, 1990). First records for the states of Goa and Rajasthan.
