Notes. – The genus Michauxia (Campanulaceae) and its type species M. campanuloides have recently been the subject of a comprehensive treatment (see LACK & CALLMANDER, in press). Alphonse Candolle followed the example of his father and quoted the two engravings included in L’Heritier’s Reliquiae when studying the genus Michauxia (CANDOLLE, 1830: 211, 1839: 457).
