This paper presents the first evidence of a rare moth, Baptria tibiale (Esper, 1804) for the fauna of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The species was recorded on Kukavica Lake in western Bosnia on July 2nd, 2021. This is a boreo-montane species with a Palaearctic distribution that is rare and very local in southeast Europe.
