Abundant at low to medium elevations of the southeastern mountains and eastern loess plateau, common at low elevations of the southern mountains, rare at high elevations of the Qinghai-Tibetan plateau in the southwest (Fig. 40); 37 localities between 719 and 3432 m (IAB). Distribution in China. Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Liaoning, Jilin, Henan, Sichuan, Yunnan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai (IAB). Forage plants.
