10a. Geonoma chococola subsp. chococola Inflorescences unbranched; rachillae 31.1(20.0–47.0) cm long, 11.2(8.1–15.2) mm in diameter. Distribution and habitat:— From 3°02’– 5°45’N and 76°15’– 77°32’W on the Pacific coast in western Colombia, and one outlying specimen in the Cauca Valley, at 109(0–500) m elevation in lowland rainforest (Fig. 11).
