Heteracris pterosticha

Heteracris pterosticha (Fischer von Waldheim, 1833) Distribution in Turkey: This species is common in Anatolia but mainly in Eastern Anatolia (Karabağ, 1958; Weidner, 1969; Karabağ et al. 1971, 1980; Demirsoy, 1977; Salman, 1978; Güneş, 1984; Erman & Salman, 1990; Sevgili & Ciplak, 2000; Ünal, 2006b; Sevgili et al. 2012). Previous records: Hakkari Province (Karabağ, 1958; Demirsoy, 1977; Ünal, 2006b; Sevgili et al. 2012). Material examined: This species was not seen during the study. Remarks: Some previous records were given as Thisoicetrinus pterostichus (Fischer de Waldheim, 1833).
