Order Littorinimorpha Superfamily Truncatelloidea Remarks. The superfamily Rissooidea was previously used to include Tateidae and related families, but Criscione & Ponder (2013) have shown that the Rissooidea and Truncatelloidea should be recognised as two separate superfamilies, with the former containing only a few marine families.
