This is the first release for The Letters of Libanius Project. Libanius was a professor of rhetoric from 4th c. AD Antioch who left behind about 1544 letters. This release contains CSVs with metadata for 110 letters. A CSV and XML with the Greek text for the first 839 letters. The XML file is a heavily modified version of the file released by the Open Greek and Latin Project. It also contains GeoJSON files for some of the provinces in the Roman Empire at the end of the 4th c. Finally, it contains IPython notebooks that interact with that data.
