The article analyzes the eating habits and preferences of children and adolescents from the “Folk Song and Dance Ensemble Częstochowa”, where the respondents develop their dancing skills and learn about the cultural habits of other nations. Based on the conducted research, it was found that only 57.1% of the respondents eat 4-5 meals a day, and the most omitted meal is afternoon tea (14.3% of the respondents eat afternoon tea every day). Most people eat sweets several times a day, once a day and 2-3 times a week (85.7%). The most popular and consumed drink among children and adolescents is mineral/spring water, but the amount of fluid consumed during the day is too little. Children and adolescents too rarely eat fish, which should be eaten twice a week, and vegetables that would be best in each meal and fruit, the daily consumption of which should be 2 portions.
