This presentation was given at the Creative Commons Summit 2021. YouTube (YT) is one of the most popular platforms for easily sharing open educational video content, but some system features inherently limit the re-usability of CC-licensed materials. We describe a workflow to facilitate compliance with CC licenses for sharing educational videos on YT. We developed this workflow for content of the Open Life Science (OLS) mentorship program. To improve the reusability of OLS videos, we shared videos and captions in English and Arabic on Zenodo and GitHub. This facilitates collaborative translations of the captions and retains download-rights of the videos. https://summit.creativecommons.org/2021-program/ Our project in GitHub: https://github.com/open-life-science/ols3-cohort-talks-and-transcripts Our project in Crowdin: https://crowdin.com/project/ols3 Our project in Zenodo: https://zenodo.org/record/5515763#.YUcz9GYzZhE
