Abstract

Hydroptila venus nov.sp. M a t e r i a l: Malaysia, Perak: Belum exp. base camp, 5°30‘N, 101°26‘E, 250m, 21.3.- 14.4.1004, leg. I. Sivec: 1 (HT). – Thailand, Taleban NP, 6°43‘N, 100°10‘E, 80m, 7.- 8.5.1993, leg. Malicky: 11 (PT). VFL 1,8 mm. Ventraldorn des 7. Sternits klein und spitz. - KA (Tafel 4): 9. Segment oval, Dorsalausschnitt schmal und rund, Ventralausschnitt spitz, mit spitzem medianem Ventrokaudalfortsatz. 10. Segment gross, in DA breit und distal rundlich erweitert, in LA gerade und rundlich. Die Mittelplatte besteht aus zwei lateralen Fortsätzen, die distal je zwei nach unten/aussen gebogene Spitzen tragen. UA in LA sehr schmal und gerade, in VA dünn und distal nach aussen gebogen. PA mit annähernd gleich langen Teilen, Distalteil viel schlanker als der dicke Basalteil. Gräte mässig lang, Distalteil mit einem grossen, spitzen distalen Haken. – Ähnlich ist H. tungsalaeng nov.sp. durch die Form der Mittelplatte.
