Cell elongated, piriform, with asymmetrical sides; one margin convex and other slightly sigmoid; antapex pointed; one long, winged anterior spine. CL: 40–72.5 μm (58.9 ± 12.1 μm), TL: 55–90 μm (75.8 ± 13.7 μm), CW: 20–25 μm (22.4 ± 2.1 μm) (n = 29). Distribution in Brazil: coastal regions of Amapá, Pará, Rio Grande do Norte, and Pernambuco; along the eastern, southeastern, and southern coasts (Flora do Brasil 2019).
