Kenya, 2 females, Wasini Island, July 21, 2005; 1 female, Funzi Island, July 25, 2005; 1 female, Mukaka Forest, Kwale, Coast Province, July 26, 2005 (El-Banhawy). Female: Dorsal shield imbricate, 335 long, 112 wide, with six pairs of pores. Measurements of dorsal setae: j1, j3 25, j4 20, j5 16, j6 23, J2 24, J5 9, z2 18, z4 23, z5 18, Z1 23, Z4 25, Z5 48, s4 30, S2, S4, S5 24, r3, R1 16, JV5 32. Setae Z 5 serrated, remaining setae smooth, R1 on dorsal shield. Peritrematal shield fused anteriorly with dorsal shield, reaching level between z2 and z4. Sternal shield smooth, distances between St I-St III 65, St II-St II 70, St IV free on integument. Genital shield 84 wide. Ventri-anal shield 105 long, 55 wide, with a pair of crescentic preanal pores and three pairs of pre-anal setae (JV1, JV2, ZV2). Two pairs of metapodal platelets, two pairs of sigillar sclerites and four pairs of setae surrounding ventri-anal shield. Fixed digit of chelicera with three small teeth clustered distally, movable digit with one tooth. Spermatheca calyx 55 long, filamentous, atrium inconspicuous. Macrosetae knobbed, Sge II 18, Sge III 25, Sti III 18, Sge IV 28; 39, Sti IV 21; 24; 28, St IV 35; 32. Chaetotaxy: genu II 2, 2 / 0, 2/0, 1, genu III 1, 2 /1, 2/0, 1. Remarks. The female holotype and male paratype were collected from Kilifi, Kenya, September 12, 1985, H. Van den Berg, (Moraes & McMurtry, 1988).
