This leafhopper was described from Queensland where it occurred on grasses and sedges. It was not previously known in Guam. We found it sparsely on a large swamp reed (Trichoon ro.xburgii). At Agana Swamp, eight parasites were obtained from the eggs of this leafhopper. They are an undetermined species of the trichogrammatid genus Oligosita.
