Arthroclianthus vieillardii Schindl.

Abstract

Arthroclianthus vieillardii Schindl. In Repertorium Specierum Novarum Regni Vegetabilis 22: 251 (1926). — Type: Nouvelle-Calédonie. Prov. Sud: Poyel (Pombei) près de Wagap, 1861-67, fl., Vieillard 2559 p.p. sensu typi (lecto-, P [P02850653]!, désigné ici, Fig. 18); isolecto -, BM [BM000797796]!; P [P02850649]!). NOTES Il s’agit ici clairement d’un genre différent d’ Arthroclianthus. Schindler a décrit cette espèce sur la base d’échantillons en fleurs. Cette espèce est identifiée en tant que Strongylodon lucidus Seem. Les échantillons de Vieillard 2559 sont cités dans la révision des Strongylodon Vogel (Huang 1991). Il existe plusieurs parts de Vieillard 2559 à P, mais seules trois sont annotées de la main de Vieillard avec la localité type citée dans la diagnose et seulement deux parts sont en fleurs. Par conséquent nous choisissons la part Vieillard 2559 (P02850653) comme lectotype.
