Province of Jujuy, Calilegua, 4.VI.2007, Guilbert & Montemayor coll., 1 ♀ (MNHN). DISTRIBUTION. — Argentina: Corrientes (Empedrado). The genus is distributed from Central to South America, with only the two species V. manihotae (Drake, 1922) and V. pauxilla known from Argentina. Vatiga pauxilla, exclusively distributed in Argentina, is here recorded for the first time from Jujuy. It was collected in the canopy of a tree at 25 m above the ground in Calilegua park. HOST PLANTS. — Unrecorded.
