This article analyzes the experience learned during the implementation of the project “Sociocultural classroom for the integration of children, teenagers and families from Venezuela in the city of Cali, whose general target was to enhance social, cognitive and intercultural skills that contribute to the sociocultural integration of boys, girls, teenagers and families in the city of Cali and as specific goals: 1) identify cognitive, socio-affective and intercultural skills through a psycho-pedagogical diagnosis; 2) accompany at a psychosocial level in the strengthening of skills identified through arts, music, sport, pedagogy and psychology 3) sensitize host communities to sociocultural integration through integration sessions, conversations and participatory workshops.
