Zygaena filipendulae (Linnaeus, 1758) Sphinx filipendulae Linnaeus, 1758: 494. FIRST RECORD FOR THE VALDIERI AREA. — Turati & Verity (1912). CHOROTYPE. — Turanic-European. ECOLOGY. — Natural and semi-natural open herbaceous areas. It inhabits a variety of habitats from open woodland to alpine meadows (Naumann et al. 1999). Known lhp belong to the genera Lotus and Dorycnium.
