The Madremonte project is a participatory action research -IAP- in the sociocultural and educational field, which, refinanced and redesigned in 2018, has integrated students and professionals of psychology, sociology and education, with schoolchildren, teachers and families from three official Educational Institutions - IEO-, in two municipalities of the department of Valle del Cauca, Colombia and one in the municipality of Cumbal, Nariño. Its objective is to recognize that service-learning and the training of university practitioners and some teachers in educational models or interactions developed from Cultural Psychology and Social Sciences, will allow the creation of communities of practice and learning, as well as the social appropriation of knowledge that facilitates strengthen and improve the learning of participating schoolchildren, teachers, communities and university students.
