Holotype, male, 2.6 mm, LACM CR 1961 - 097.1 (originally AHF 6131). Type locality. Cedros Trench, eastern Pacific Ocean Station 7249, (27°36.42'N 115°56.42'W), 3705–3745 m. Habitat. Marine, ooze. Depth range. 3705–3745 m (J.L. Barnard 1967). Distribution. Eastern Pacific Ocean. Cedros Trench (J.L. Barnard 1967).
