This Deliverable presents the Terms of Reference developed to define the purpose and the structure of the Polar Expert Group (PEG), who is intended to be a group of internationally recognised experts in all kinds of Polar Research within the EU-PolarNet 2 project. This activity is part of the objective of advancing European polar research strategies and supporting the development of large-scale international polar initiatives carried out by WP3. The Terms of Reference here presented is organized in different sections, including responsibilities, criteria for its composition, guidelines for selection of its members, remuneration aspects, voting/decisions, meetings organization and expected activities, as well as the template for the nomination form.
