Schematic computer reconstructions of the first dated medieval castle of Germany, in 924 constructed near Brunswick. Here King Henry defeated hungarian raiders and later his son completed the nucleus with an early town foundation (18 hectares). The video shows and explains the building techniques and the phases of construction plus an historical sketch up to the decline in the late middle-ages. Today nearly nothing is visible.
