Carnac – eine Reise in die Urgeschichte

Im Sommer 1928 unternahmen Lily und Paul Klee gemeinsam eine Reise nach Frankreich in die Bretagne. Diese führte sie unter anderem nach Carnac, wo sie das Museé de Préhistoire und die berühmten prähistorischen Stätten besuchten. In den wenigen Schriften, die die Reise dokumentieren, tat Klee vor allem sein Staunen über prähistorische Ausgrabungen kund.
