Video: ------------------------------------------------------ English: Coffee Lecture Slides: Publikation von Forschungsdaten: Ein Gewinn für alle (Coffee Lecture 30.06.2021, only available in German) The volume of data generated each year is increasing continuously. But what good is all this data if it cannot be used? It is estimated that about 80% of scientific data is so-called "dark data". Data, that are not visible, not available, cost money and will be lost for the foreseeable future. Therefore, it is important that research data are published and reused, because only the use of data generates a value. This coffee lecture will focus on the question of how individual researchers can contribute to making research data a benefit for all. Video:
