Species of the family Orbitestellidae (genera Boschitestella and Orbitestella) are studied from material collected by the authors in the Atlantic (Caribbean and West Africa), Red Sea and some Pacific Ocean (mainly French Polynesia areas). Some comments on their larval shell morphology and distribution are made. Three new species are described
