Sinclair (2010: 205) cited three specimens of this species from “Pata de Gallina”, collected “ 10-25.i.1993 ”, locating this point in Atacama Region in the desert area of Chile, a record we consider as erroneous, as there are some localities with this name at different latitudes in Chile. To be accurate we need to consider the collection data given for one female of C. paraconnexus by Sinclair (2010: 214), collected at “S. Concepcion, Laraquete, 10- 25.i.1993, P. Salinas”; the identical collection date leads us to associate the collection locality of Pata de Gallina to Arauco Province (exactly S of Contulmo), for its vicinity to Laraquete, more than in homonymous localities in Biobío (SW Los Angeles) or Concepción (6 km S Concepcion, urban area) provinces.
