Basonym: Lactobacillus otakiensis Watanabe et al. 2009, 758 VP Physiologicalcharacteristics and originare similar to L. kisonensis [333]. The genome size of the type strain is 2.35 Mbp. The mol% G+C content of DNA is 42.4. Isolated from sunki, a fermented turnip product and from kefir.The type strain is YIT 11163 T =DSM 19908 T =JCM15040T=NRIC 0742T.
