We provide data used in the work titled "Decoding the brain state-dependent relationship between pupil dynamics and resting state fMRI signal fluctuation". Data from 10 anesthetized rats yielding 74 simultaneous resting state fMRI (rs-fMRI) and pupillometry recordings are uploaded. For each recording trial a rs-fMRI scan (EPI; 925 s; 1 s TR), a structural image (T2 RARE) and a pupil diameter time course (1 s sampling rate; aligned to the rs-fMRI scan) are given. All anatomical images are located in the compressed file 'anatomical_images_74_trials.zip'. Pupil diameter time courses can be accessed either in the Matlab format file 'pupil_diameter_74_trials.mat' or in the Python-Numpy format file 'pupil_diameter_74_trials.npy'. Each rs-fMRI scan is accessible as a separate 'rs-fmri-#.nii' file.
