O hibridismo homem/animal a partir do perspectivismo ameríndio: O caçador de histórias, de Yaguarê Yamã

Abstract

Abstract: This article seeks to analyze the hybrid relationship between man and animals, which appears in the work O caçador de histórias (2004) by author Yaguarê in a process of metamorphosis. Literary works make up a privileged source of access for cultural aspects. Through tales that were initially narrated orally, elements linked to the traditional cultural heritage of a people, such as beliefs and legends, come to the fore. The relationship of men with nature and the world around them is one of the aspects that it is possible to think about when analyzing tales from oral literature. Through the specific bias of perspectivism, we seek to understand how this facet of culture appears in O caçador de histórias. The Amazonian imaginary fits into the history of Brazilian literature, in addition to understanding how the imaginary, fantastical was instituted throughout the narratives, since literature, in some cases, served to standardize the attempt to understand and explain the Amazon region; finally questioning how the fictional discourse intends to be taken as a representative of a space and of the societies that inhabit it in a certain historical context. The prioritized approaches for analysis: how to transmit and preserve customs and traditions; the elements that touch the relationship of men with the natural world, with special attention to the appearance of animals in the transformations. Keywords: Amerindian perspective. Hybridity. Imaginary. O Caçador de Histórias.
