The BOKU (University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna) university demonstration forest ("Lehrforst") Rosalia with an area of 950 ha has been used for research and education since 1875. The forest is important for many university courses as well as for research studies. For more details: https://boku.ac.at/en/wabo/lehrforst/ueber-den-lehrforst The DTM was created in the context of the master thesis. The full-waveform data were used to create DTM and DSM and subsequently to model the timber stock using the inventory points for the entire demonstration forest. The main focus was therefore on the canopy height model and not on the creation of a highly accurate DTM.
