Genus Euromycter n. gen. DIAGNOSIS. — As for the type and only known species, given below. TYPE SPECIES. — Casea rutena (Sigogneau-Russell & Russell, 1974). ETYMOLOGY. — The new generic designation refers to the location of the taxon in Europe, and “mycter” = nose, refers to the enlarged external naris that characterizes this caseid.
