105. Amblyomma rhinocerotis (De Geer, 1778). An Afrotropical species whose adults are usually found on Perissodactyla: Rhinocerotidae. Adults alone have been collected from Artiodactyla: Hippopotamidae and Suidae, Carnivora: Felidae, Perissodactyla: Rhinocerotidae, and rarely from Squamata: Pythonidae, and Testudines (unknown family). There are no records of Amblyomma rhinocerotis causing human parasitism.
