Clinical, neuropsychological and NIRS neurophysiological data in children with ADHD and typically developing peers

Abstract

The present dataset contains the following variables referred to 43 children participating to a cross sectional study. - ID = subject's identifier - group = subject's group (ctrl=control group, adhd = attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder) - diagnosis1, diagnosis2, diagnosis3 = possible comorbid diagnosis - sex = subject's biological gender (m=male, f=female) - age = subject's age in years - ses = socio-economic status - FSIQ = Full Scale Intelligence Quotient - CPRS_ADHDindex = Conners Parent Rating Scale, ADHD Index Scale - *_CBCL (columns K:S)= Child Behavior Checklist/6-18, syndromes scales scores (T-points). Note: DysregulationProfile is the sum of "AnxDep", "Attention", "Aggressive". - Columns T:AY = NIRS activation data. Note: HbO=Oxyhemoglobin; HbR=Deoxyhemoglobin; PF=prefrontal; F=frontal; sx=left;dx=right; Pos=Positive task condition; Dist=Distorted task condition; Neg=Negative task condition; Neu=Neutral task condition. - Columns BB:BO = computerized task performances. Note: Pos=Positive task condition; Dist=Distorted task condition; Neg=Negative task condition; Neu=Neutral task condition; mRThit=reaction time for hits, mean value; sdRThit=reaction time for hits, standard deviation; err=number of commission errors; miss=number of omission errors.
