Selymbria ahyetios Ramos & Wolda, 1985 Selymbria sp. H2 Wolda 1977: 239. Selymbria stigmatica non Germar Wolda 1984: 451. Selymbria ahyetios Ramos & Wolda 1985: 178. (Barro Colorado Island, Panama) Remarks. This species can be distinguished from S. pluvialis Ramos & Wolda, 1985 by the absence of a spot of infuscation on the apex of the fore wing. This species emerges during the last month of the rainy season and early dry season between late November and February and tends to fly at lower altitudes in the forest based on the majority being captured in the trap near the ground (Ramos & Wolda 1985; Wolda 1977; 1988; 1989; 1993). Distribution. The species is known only from Panama (Sanborn 2013). Panamanian specimens are from Barro Colorado Island, Panama Canal Zone, 120 m altitude in lowland forest (Ramos & Wolda 1985; Wolda 1977; 1988; 1989; 1993; Wolda & Ramos 1992).
