Parkiana rabenoroi (Viette, 1988), comb. nov. (Figs. 3 A–F) Lecithocera rabenoroi Viette, 1988: 102. TL: Amber Mountain, Les Roussettes. Type. 1♀ (holotype), North Madagascar, Amber Mountain (Montagne d’Ambre), Les Roussettes, alt. 1,000 m, 8 xii 1958, P. Viette leg.; P.E.L. The species is superficially characterized by the forewing with distinct, yellowish-white narrow antemedian band and the antenna with distinct dark annulets. The hind wing with M 3 and CuA 1 coincident. Abdominal segments have spinose zones with sparse spines on dorsal surface (Fig. 3F). Female genitalia (Figs. 3 C–E): See also the line drawing given by Viette (1988, Fig. 7). Abdominal sternite VIII deeply emarginated into U-shape medially. Apophyses anteriores about 2/5 length of apophyses posteriores. Antrum bowl-shaped. Ductus bursae as long as corpus bursae. Corpus bursae ovate, heavily wrinkled; signa consist of more than 10 strong conic spines. Remarks. The antenna and the forewing colour pattern of the species are well in accordance with those of Parkiana, but the female genitalia are very characteristic with more than 10 strong conic spines in the corpus bursae. Distribution. Madagascar (North) (Viette, 1988).
