Abstract

Cupressus sempervirens Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 1002. 1753. "Habitat in Creta." RCN: 7256. Lectotype (Silba in Phytologia 52: 357, f. 1. 1983): Herb. Clifford: 449, Cupressus 1 β (BM-000647431). Generitype of Cupressus Linnaeus (vide Hutchinson in Bull. Misc. Inform. Kew 1924: 61. 1924). Current name: Cupressus sempervirens L. (Cupressaceae).
