Clifford: 450, Ricinus 1 (BM-000647441). Generitype of Ricinus Linnaeus. Current name: Ricinus communis L. (Euphorbiaceae). Note: Fawcett & Rendle (Fl. Jamaica 4: 307. 1920) indicated 1142.1 (LINN) as type but this was a post-1753 addition to the collection, from Brander, and not original material for the name.
