Cacalia ficoides Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 834. 1753. "Habitat in Aethiopia." RCN: 6033. Lectotype (Wijnands, Bot. Commelins: 78. 1983): [icon] " Senecio Afr. arboresc. ficoidis folio et facie " in Commelin, Hort. Med. Amstelaed. Pl. Rar.: 40, t. 40. 1706. Current name: Senecio ficoides (L.) Sch. Bip. (Asteraceae).
