Bot. 50: 315. 1993): [icon] " Chamaerhododendros Pontica maxima, Mespili folio, flore luteo " in Buxbaum, Pl. Minus Cognit. Cent. 5: 36, t. 69. 1740. Current name: Rhododendron luteum Sweet (Ericaceae).
