Maxon (Dennstaedtiaceae). Note: Specific epithet spelled “chinensis” in the protologue. Fosberg (in Taxon 18: 596-598. 1969) and Kramer (in van Steenis, Fl. Malesiana, ser. II, 1: 182. 1971) treat Osbeck material in 5 as the type, but this collection has not been traced - see Hansen 6 Fox Maule (in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 67: 208. 1973).
