Oxyria digyna Hill 1768

Abstract

Rumex digynus Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 337. 1753. "Habitat in Alpibus Lapponicis, Helveticis, Wallicis." RCN: 2597. Lectotype (Bhopal & Chaudhri in Pakistan Syst. 1(2): 89. 1977): Herb. Linn. No. 464.32 (LINN). Current name: Oxyria digyna (L.) Hill (Polygonaceae). Note: Jonsell & Jarvis (in Nordic J. Bot. 14: 154. 1994) designated Herb. Linn. No. 132 (LAPP) as lectotype but this choice is pre-dated by that of Bhopal & Chaudhri.
