Abstract

Morus nigra Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 986. 1753. "Habitat in Italiae maritimis." RCN: 7147. Lectotype (Bhopal & Chaudhri in Pakistan Syst. 1(2): 29. 1977): Herb. Linn. No. 1112.3 (LINN), see above, right. Generitype of Morus Linnaeus (vide Green, Prop. Brit. Bot.: 188. 1929). Current name: Morus nigra L. (Moraceae).
