Orobanche ramosa Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 633. 1753. "Habitat in Europae siccis." RCN: 4592. Lectotype (Foley in Anales Jard. Bot. Madrid 58: 231. 2001): Herb. Clifford: 321, Orobanche 2 (BM-000646204). Current name: Orobanche ramosa L. (Orobanchaceae). Note: Graham (in Turrill & Milne-Redhead, Fl. Trop. E. Africa, Orobanchaceae: 3. 1957) indicated unspecified material at LINN as the lectotype. However, this does not distinguish between sheets 798.8 and 798.9 (which are evidently not part of a single gathering so Art. 9.15 does not apply).
