El número de especies exóticas detectadas en Galicia sigue creciendo. Prueba de ello es esta nueva planta, Sechium edule (Jacq.) Sw., una cucurbitácea originaria de México, que hemos encontrado como adventicia en los márgenes de algunas huertas del municipio de Cangas (Pontevedra).
The number of exotic species detected in Galicia continues to grow. Proof of this is this new plant, Sechium edule (Jacq.) Sw., a cucumber native to Mexico. We have found it as adventitious in the margins of the some orchards of the municipality of Cangas (Pontevedra).
