Abstract

Mugilidae Jarocki 1822 Chelon labrosus (Risso, 1827) [N]―[LC], Thicklip grey mullet/Kefal, mavraki/All coastal waters of Anatolia in brackish waters (Bilecenoglu et al. 2002; Kuru 2004; Geldiay & Balik 2007; Fricke et al. 2007; Bilecenoglu et al. 2014; Kuru et al. 2014; Çiçek et al. 2015). Chelon ramada (Risso, 1827) [N]―[LC], Thinlip mullet/Pulatarina baligi, ceran/All coastal waters of Anatolia in brackish waters (Bilecenoglu et al. 2002; Kuru 2004; Geldiay & Balik 2007; Fricke et al. 2007; Bilecenoglu et al. 2014; Kuru et al. 2014; Çiçek et al. 2015). Chelon saliens (Risso, 1810) [N]―[NE], Leaping mullet/Kefal, kokar baligi, kastros/All coastal waters of Anatolia in brackish waters (Bilecenoglu et al. 2002; Kuru 2004; Geldiay & Balik 2007; Fricke et al. 2007; Bilecenoglu et al. 2014; Kuru et al. 2014; Çiçek et al. 2015). Chelon auratus (Risso, 1810) [N]―[LC], Golden grey mullet/Altinbaș kefal/All coastal waters of Anatolia in brackish waters (Bilecenoglu et al. 2002; Kuru 2004; Geldiay & Balik 2007; Fricke et al. 2007; Bilecenoglu et al. 2014; Kuru et al. 2014; Çiçek et al. 2015). Mugil cephalus Linnaeus, 1758 [N]―[LC], Flathead mullet/Haskefal, topan kefal/All coastal waters of Anatolia in brackish waters (Bilecenoglu et al. 2002; Kuru 2004; Geldiay & Balik 2007; Fricke et al. 2007; Bilecenoglu et al. 2014; Kuru et al. 2014; Çiçek et al. 2015). Oedalechilus labeo (Cuvier, 1829) [N]―[NE], Boxlip mullet/Dudakli kefal/Estuaries in Sea of Marmara, Aegean Sea and Mediterranean Sea watersheds, entering freshwater habitats (Bilecenoglu et al. 2002; Kuru 2004; Geldiay & Balik 2007; Fricke et al. 2007; Bilecenoglu et al. 2014; Kuru et al. 2014; Çiçek et al. 2015). Planiliza abu (Heckel, 1843) [N]―[LC], Abu mullet/Kefal/Euphrates, Tigris and Ceyhan river basins (Kuru 2004; Geldiay & Balik 2007; Fricke et al. 2007; Kuru et al. 2014; Çiçek et al. 2015).
