Authors: Fukuda, Yuki; Ogawa, Ryo; Hori, Michio;

Calochroa , Hope 1838

Abstract

Genus Calochroa Hope, 1838 Calochroa Hope, 1838:15 (type species: Cicindela octonotata Wiedemann, 1819). Calochroma Motschulsky, 1862:22 (type species: Cicindela sexpunctata Fabricius, 1775) [synonymy by Rivalier 1958:331]. Calostola Motschulsky, 1862:22 (type species: Cicindela assamensis Parry, 1844) [synonymy by Rivalier 1958:331]. Cicindela (Calochroa): Acciavatti & Pearson 1989:136. Calochroa: Naviaux 1991:262. Remarks. Acciavatti & Pearson (1989) interpret the described year of this type species incorrectly as the following; [Calochroa, Hope, 1838:15 (type species: Cicindela octonotata Wiedmann, 1823)]. In fact, the type species is Cicindela octonotata Wiedmann, 1819.
