Subfamily: Pyrgomorphinae Pyrgomorpha conica (Olivier, 1791) Not uncommon within xeric environments, including coastal sand dunes, steppic assemblages and rocky terrain with sparse vegetation. Distribution. Mediterranean, some of the Canary Islands and parts of the Afrotropical region. Its range also extends eastward along the same latitudinal band of the Mediterranean into the Middle Eastern and Oriental regions.
