Abstract

RESUMEN: Presenta la serie radial De leer, un viaje por la promoción de la lectura, como producto derivado del proyecto de investigación aplicada, realizado en el formato de radio cultural y educativa por la Escuela Interamericana de Bibliotecología, La Emisora Cultural y la Dirección de Regionalización de la Universidad de Antioquia. La serie consta de 16 programas, que abordan temas referidos a la lectura, el lector, las bibliotecas y, principalmente, la promoción de la lectura. Está dirigida a todos los actores participantes en la formación social de los lectores, es decir, padres de familia, maestros, bibliotecarios y otros trabajadores culturales presentes en las distintas regiones del Departamento de Antioquia, Colombia. El objetivo del proyecto era trabajar por el cumplimiento de una de las tareas más esenciales de la Universidad de Antioquia, cual es la de la proyección social en búsqueda del mejoramiento de la calidad de la educación, con especial énfasis en las regiones del Departamento. El artículo plantea, inicialmente, la identificación sucinta de la problemática que enfrentó el proyecto; luego realiza la descripción de los públicos objetivos de la serie, sus componentes formativos, la metodología seguida en su producción, los principios pedagógicos rectores de la serie y los indicadores de medición de impacto.

ABSTRACT: The radio serial "De leer, un viaje por la promoción de la lectura" is presented as a product derived from an applied research project carried out under the cultural and educational radio format by the Escuela Interamericana de Bibliotecología and the Dirección de Regionalización of the Universidad de Antioquia. The radio serial consists of 16 programs, which deal with topics such as reading, reader, libraries, and mainly, reading promotion. It is addressed to all the people participating in the social education of readers; that is, parents, teachers, librarians, and other cultural workers from the different regions of Antioquia (Colombia). The goal of the project was to work for the accomplishment of one of the most important tasks of the Universidad de Antioquia, that is, the social projection to better the education quality, with special consideration of the regions of Antioquia. Firstly, this paper shows a brief explanation of the problem. Secondly, it describes the target audiences of the radio serial as well as its educational components, methodology, pedagogical principles, and its impact measurement indicators.
